Long ago, after a prophetic dream from StarClan was shared with the medicine cats of the four original Clans, five cats, one from each Clan and one volunteer medicine cat, united with permission from their leaders to set off in the world to gather lost souls in need of StarClan and start four new Clans. Under the guidance of their ancestors, this missionary band of four warriors and one medicine cat traveled long and far, picking up new friends along the way, until they reached a suitable place to start their lives anew. The land they settled was nestled in a little valley, far enough away from Two-Legs for them to live comfortably.
Redflower, who became RedStar, became the leader of LeafClan, who's territory was to the east in a beautiful birch forest.
Swiftfrost, who became SwiftStar, became the leader of IceClan, who's territory was to the north in a hilly land.
Rushfoot, who became RushStar, became the leader of StormClan, who's territory was to the west in a flat land spotted with pine trees.
Brightpelt, who became Brightstar, became the leader of MistClan, who's territory was to the south in the deepest part of the valley.
In the beginning, the Clans were still small, but under the guidance of StarClan and one medicine cat to train three more, the Clans flourished. As generations came and went, the Clans grew, squabbled, borders were enforced, and life grew to normalcy under the Warrior Code.
